Core Components of Worldcoin
Worldcoin is built around two main components: World ID and the Worldcoin token (WLD).
World ID
World ID is a privacy-preserving digital identity network that uses proof of personhood to establish that an individual is both human and unique. This is achieved through a custom biometric device called the Orb, which verifies humanness and uniqueness. The Orb is designed with the understanding that custom biometric hardware might be the only long-term viable solution to issue AI-safe proof of personhood verifications.
Worldcoin Token (WLD)
